Project 1 Brief
You must submit a completed Project Brief with every project. Project Briefs must be typed and use proper spelling, punctuation and grammar. Print the brief and hand in before or by the due date of the project.
What to include?
Describe your project in one to three paragraphs. What is the purpose of your project? Why did you choose the subject? What makes your project interesting or useful?
Audience
Who is the intended audience for your project? (the audience should never be "everyone".) Where would this project most likely be published? What design decisions did you make to attract this audience?
Design Strategies
Explain your design process. How are contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity used to create a clear and effective message? What design elements did you use to create a cohesive piece? What obstacles did you face in your design, and what solution did you find to solve it?
Research
How did you research the content for your project? What sources did you use for your project?
Subject Matter
Was there anything about the subject matter that could or did raise legal or ethical questions about the presentation of the material? How did you handle sensitive subject matter? Would you have to change anything about the project if it were to be published?
